The widow of former State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov, murdered in the capital of Ukraine, Maria Maksakova, got married for the second time. Information on marital status, as reported by Komsomolskaya Pravda, is contained in the lawsuit that Maksakova filed on September 24 in the Presnensky Court of Moscow.

Earlier, a press secretary of the Presnensky Court of Moscow, Alexei Chernikov, told RIA Novosti that Maksakova asked to recognize the illegal sale of an apartment on Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, but did not disclose any other details of the claim.

According to the publication, the wedding ceremony took place in July in Kiev. Dalkhat Khalayev was chosen by Maksakova. After the wedding, the spouse allegedly presented the new husband with an apartment on Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment in Moscow, which Khalaev sold almost immediately, without even consulting with Maksakova herself. Upon learning of this, she went to court to declare the sale of real estate invalid, writes Komsomolskaya Pravda. In the lawsuit, Maksakova claims that she did not know about the intentions of Khalaev and did not give him permission to alienate the jointly acquired property. In addition to Khalaev, the defendant was also a real estate buyer, Murat Merzhoyev.

Maksakova - the widow of former State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov, who was killed on March 23, 2017 in the center of Kiev. In 2016, they left Russia for Ukraine. Voronenkov motivated the departure by political reasons, the Investigation Committee considered this step as an attempt to escape from the investigation: the former deputy was arrested in absentia in the case of a raider seizure of a building in Moscow.
