The Turkish shipyard Dunya Yachts has begun construction of the 48-meter yacht My Bro, which will become a support vessel for the 72-meter Axioma. Forbes was informed about this by a representative of the yacht broker YPI.

A Forbes source in the yachting market explained that the new vessel is being built for TMK co-owner Dmitry Pumpyansky, who owns Axioma. Another source for Forbes confirmed this information. According to Dmitry Semenikhin, the founder of Yacht Harbor, the cost of building the vessel is $ 25-30 million. Forbes sent a request to the businessman's representatives, but at the time of publication it remained unanswered.

My Bro is currently under construction with completion scheduled for 2023. Canadian design company Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architecture was hired to work on the project. The yacht My Bro will be capable of speeds up to 18 knots (33.3 km / h).

The catamaran will be able to carry 10 guests in five cabins. The boat is also equipped with a helipad with a Touch and Go touchscreen, which can be transformed into a dance floor, open-air cinema, basketball court, tennis court or yoga space, depending on the wishes of the renter. In addition to the traditional "water toys" (tenders, kayaks, diving equipment and others), My Bro will have its own mini-submarine.

A YPI spokesman explained that the need to build a new vessel arose because Axioma is often rented out and in demand among larger companies that lack a main vessel to accommodate guests. My Bro will be available for charter separately (from € 300,000 per week) or in tandem with Axioma (from € 800,000). YPI stressed that Axioma is one of the most successful charter boats.

Dunya Yachts is located in Istanbul, Turkey and specializes in the construction of superyachts up to 100 meters in length, and also carries out repairs and refits of ships. The 72-meter yacht Axioma is the most famous project of the shipyard; Dmitry Pumpyansky purchased it for $ 68.84 million. At the same shipyard, the billionaire was going to build a 100-meter yacht Project Blade, however, according to Forbes, the ship was never built.
