What happened

We are talking about an aircraft with the serial number 9762. According to the newspaper, it is he who is assigned the tail number T7-KLT on flight tracking services, and the jet with such data appeared in the FBK investigation about the head of VTB Andrei Kostin and the leading Naila Asker-zade.
Judging by the announcement, the jet used by the TV presenter was put into operation in March 2017, since then it has flown 598 flights, with a total flight time of 1,690 hours. Since January 2020, the plane, as indicated on the dealer's website, is located in Nuremberg. The dealer is ready to disclose its cost only upon request, but judging by other offers on the market, MBH-Media notes, the new owner of the jet can cost $ 35-40 million.
FBK investigation
FBK released an investigation into Asker-Zade and Kostin in December last year. It talked about the connection between the banker and the TV presenter and, in particular, that Asker-Zade regularly uses the Bombardier Global 6000 business jet, the cost of which, according to FBK, was about $ 60 million (the investigators also assumed that the jet could be in lease, and in this case, according to FBK, cost its tenant 559,000 rubles per hour of flight).
The owner of the plane, as the fund found out, was an offshore company affiliated with VTB. But the bank, commenting on the fund's investigation, said that this jet had been sold long ago. Some time later, FBK found out that the plane still continued to be associated with a Russian bank: control over it was exercised by an offshore company in Belize, and it was controlled by the operator Skyline Aviation from San Marino. This operator, according to the fund, was owned by the head of Business Aero, which in turn belonged to the head of Kostin's staff, Alexander Vorontsov. It was “Business Aero” that serviced the planes when VTB owned them, FBK noticed.
In this regard, Alexei Navalny argued that Naila Asker-Zade used the jet because of her special relationship with the head of the bank. Sami Kostin and Asker-Zade did not directly comment on their relationship.
