The businessman will launch an "entertaining and developing" project for Krugozor children on the basis of the Artek pioneer camp in the Crimea, as well as in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Businessman Arkady Rotenberg will launch an "entertaining and developing project" for children and adolescents aged 12-16, the businessman told Vedomosti through his representative. The working title of the project is "Krugozor", but it can still change. The amount of expenses has not been determined yet. This is a "social investment": the project is not commercial, is not focused on financial benefits and does not involve raising budget funds, the businessman said.

According to him, it is planned to "create interesting entertainment formats with developing elements that have a viral potential." It can be lectures, seminars, master classes, interactive meetings, he listed. "Guided by my parents' experience, I believe that children should be busy as much as possible ... It is useless to force them, but you can and should be interested in," says Rotenberg, the father of five children.

Now educational projects in Russia are mainly aimed at talented or needy children, he said. The Rothenberg project aims to ensure that most children have access to entertaining and developing content and interesting initiatives. "I'm interested in finding projects for ordinary guys, maybe because I myself was so in my childhood," explained Rotenberg.

As RBC writes, the businessman thought about the creation of such a project after the summer of last year helped the Bosporan archaeological expedition, which worked near the construction site of the Crimean bridge. Rotenberg paid for the stay in the expedition of a group of children. His expenses, he did not disclose, noting only that the amount was not large.

All activities for children and adolescents will be free, the billionaire assured. It is planned to spend them outside the hour. There are no agreements with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, the Military Historical Society or other organizations on cooperation with Rothenberg. "It is necessary that children come themselves, so that they are not sent to us by the school or some other educational organization," he said.

The project is planned to be launched step by step - "starting from Moscow, then St. Petersburg," said Rotenberg. If the pilot version is successful, then the project "can be scaled," he said.

One of the venues for the events can be Artek - Rotenberg company Stroigazmontazh is a contractor for the reconstruction and construction of the camp. The potential pavilions are also considered pavilions VDNH and Moskvarium. Interact with children is planned and through the Internet. "We will go where there are children ... They are in" In contact "- we will make interesting content for" In contact ". They are in Telegram - we will follow them to Telegram. There will be something new - we will go there and adapt ourselves to the habitual environment for them, without trying to pull them into ours, "Rotenberg explained.
