Despite record orders for the supply of airliners, it was not possible to fulfill the plan to break even by 2017.

According to Vedomosti, referring to top managers and sources close to the company, the concern entering the United Aircraft Corporation for the 9th time in a row finished in the red: according to IFRS, its net loss amounted to about 1 billion rubles.

A year ago, the GSS lost 3.8 billion rubles, in 2015 - 10.7 billion, in 2014 - 4.5 billion, in 2013 - 9.9 billion.

The accumulated total since 2008, when the Italian company Alenia Aeronautica entered the company's capital, the loss of the GSS exceeded $ 2 billion.

The point of exit on the break-even is postponed for about three years, a source close to the UAC told Vedomosti. "Companies only this year need to invest 5-7 billion rubles in the system of after-sales service of ships, and also invest in the development of new SSJ100 modifications necessary for the market," he explains.

At the beginning of December, according to the GSS, a total of 135 SSJ100 were produced - taking into account the prototypes, the vessels in storage and the preparations for delivery in operation, the airline had 107 pieces.

The largest buyer is Aeroflot, which bought 33 cars. The former were sold at a price below the cost, recognizes another source close to the UAC.

According to him, now the demand is formed at the expense of state support - the state transport transport leasing company buys airplanes.

With export demand, it is more difficult: SSJ100 has childhood illnesses, says Fyodor Borisov, a leading researcher at the Institute of Transport Economics.

In 2016, half of the fleet of Sukhoi aircraft from Aeroflot did not fly because of the difficulties with obtaining spare parts and their high cost.

The average flying time of Aeroflot on SSJ100 was a little over 3 hours a day. The second largest operator in Russia - Gazpromavia flew to Sukhoi on average 2.1 hours a day. The main foreign buyer is Mexican Interjet - 5-6 hours.

For comparison: the average flight time of foreign aircraft from Russian airlines (excluding small and business aviation) in 2016 was 9 hours per day. In foreign loukosterov this indicator reaches 12-13 hours.

"The success of the program, including export deliveries, depends on the solution of technical problems, the aircraft must fly, and not stand on the ground," says Borisov, adding that the after-sales service remains the Achilles heel of the SSJ100.

SSJ100 is the first civil aircraft developed in Russia. Applies to the family of regional vessels, the flight range of the base version is 4400 km, capacity - 98 passengers. Its production began in 2011. As of early April, 122 SSJ100 have been produced, according to the Air Transport Review magazine: 65 of them are from Russian operators (30 of them from Aeroflot), 30 from foreign, 19 from storage, or are being prepared for transfer to the operators, 7 are from the GSS itself for testing, one was destroyed in Indonesia in 2012.
