LCD "Pomegranate Palace" is a nine-story club house built in 2010 near the Patriarch's Ponds, a 20-minute walk from the Kremlin. The house has only 17 apartments. It also has a fitness center, pool, fur coat storage and cigar room, according to the official website of the LCD.
Full wife namesake Kostin owns a 500-meter apartment on the seventh floor of the house. The cadastral value of the premises is 209 million rubles, but the market value is many times higher. On the website of the LCD, the price per square meter varies from 2.26 to 2.83 million rubles. So, Gordeeva’s apartments cost from 1.13 to 1.42 billion rubles.
Gordeeva became the owner of the apartment in 2013. In 2016, according to the USRN, she re-registered the premises as “an agreement on the division of part of the common property”. Open Media noted that such a section is most often carried out when the marriage is divorced, but official information about the divorce of Kostin and Gordeeva did not appear. The VTB website says that Kostin is married.
As the lawyer Svetlana Zemskova explained, the agreement on the division of common property does not necessarily indicate a divorce: according to the Family Code, spouses can share a common property both in marriage, in a divorce, or some time after it. “Such an agreement can be concluded, for example, if the marriage has actually broken up, but legally not. Then, in case of legal divorce, the former spouses will not have to share property in court, ”Zemskova added.
The apartment in Pomegranate Palace is not the only property of Gordeeva. She also owns a 230-meter apartment in the "house of Putin's friends" in the Swedish impasse. In 2013, Bloomberg sources said that Andrei Kostin, the head of Rosneft, Igor Sechin, billionaire Gennady Timchenko, and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov live there; the cost of penthouses in the residential complex was then estimated at 40-50 million dollars (1.32-1.65 billion rubles at the exchange rate of 2013). Gordeeva became the owner of the apartment in the "house of Putin's friends" in 2009 - also as a result of the division of common property.
In the summer of 2019, the PASMI publication, citing URN data, reported that Gordeeva also owns at least 13 land plots with a total area of more than four hectares in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow Region. At first Kostin owned part of these plots, but they were re-registered to Gordeeva - again as a result of the division of common property. Journalists using satellite imagery found a mansion on one of the sites, but it was not put on cadastral registration. The market value of real estate around Gordeeva’s land varies from 140 to 900 million rubles, wrote PASMI.
According to Open Media, Natalia Gordeeva is engaged in business, but it can not be called large. Since the early 2000s, she has owned a stake in the publishing house "Art of the XXI Century." It publishes books and albums on art and owns a “book boutique” on Sivtsev Vrazhek Street in the center of Moscow. In 2018, the publisher’s revenue amounted to 20.6 million rubles, net profit - 6.7 million, follows from the Kontur.Fokus database.
In December 2019, FBK Alexei Navalny launched an investigation stating that the host of Rossiya 1 channel Naila Asker-zade (she is called Andrei Kostin’s lover) flies on a business jet for 3.9 billion rubles, which is controlled by a company associated with VTB management , and uses a yacht for almost four billion rubles, whose official owner is unknown.
FBK also spoke about Asker-Zade real estate: a 900-meter mansion in the cottage village "Zhukovka-3" in the suburbs and two apartments in the residential complex "New Ostozhenka" in Moscow. Asker-Zadeh did not comment on the merits of the investigation, Kostin spoke of him like this: "It is his [Bulk] job to throw dirt and make money on it."
