Rocketbank announced its final closure. The company Qiwi, which owned it, tried to sell the asset due to losses, but did not find a suitable buyer.
The Qiwi Board of Directors recommended that the company get rid of Rocketbank after its loss reached one billion rubles in six months. So far, one of the founders of Qiwi, Sergey Solonin, plans to remain his investor.
Moving to 30 countries, he will continue to manage the company.
