Voentorg has gone to foreigners

Chinese Fosun became the partner of Russian Avica in the deal. 
Ex-owner of Uralkali, Dmitry Rybolovlev, managed to sell a Voentorg multifunctional center on Vozdvizhenka in Moscow. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has approved the application of the offshore company FPH Europe Holding II (H-K) Ltd on the acquisition of the object.

The FAS informed upon the decision on its website. FPH Europe Holding II (H-K) Ltd has acquired the right, allowing to determine the conditions of activity of JSC Trading House Central Military Department Store. The latter owns a multifunctional complex Voentorg in the center of Moscow (66.7 thousand sq. m. on the Vozdvizhenka street). Its owner, the ex-owner of Uralkali Dmitry Rybolovlev, has been trying to sell the building since 2014. The broker for the sell of Voentorg, the JLL company, declined to comment.

FPH Europe Holding II (H-K) Ltd is related to China's Fosun Corporation. This company, together with the management company Avica, began negotiating the purchase of Voentorg in the autumn of last year, shortly after the failed deal with BIN Group owned by the Shishkhanov-Gutserievs family (currently "Safmar").

Fosun Property Holding (FPH) is responsible for the nvestment in real estate of Fosun International, according to the official website. Hong Kong offshore company FPH Europe Holding II (H-K) Ltd was registered in March of last year, as follows from the register of companies on one of the administrative sites in Hong Kong. Avica and Fosun Property Holding have not yet commented the FAS meesage. In August last year, Voentorg was estimated at 10-12 billion rubles, or $156-187 million.
