Filev asked his question at a meeting of the subcommittee on aviation and space activities of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Interfax reports. Filev headed a division of the association instead of his wife Natalia, who died in a plane crash in Germany on March 31.

Sukhoi Superjet 100, owned by Aeroflot, on May 5, caught fire after an emergency landing at Sheremetyevo. As a result, 41 people died out of 78 aboard. "Kommersant", citing sources, wrote that when landing the aircraft, the landing gear pushed through the fuel tanks of the aircraft, one of them spilled out onto hot engines and ignited. The investigation among the versions of the accident called the lack of qualifications of pilots. Filev recalled another incident with the SSJ 100 - at Yakutsk airport in October last year, the Yakutia airline plane rolled out of the runway, breaking the landing gear. On board were 5 crew members and 91 passengers, four people applied for medical aid with bruises and headaches.

“Aviation is a precedent all the same,” Filev noted. - And here we have a colleague from Aeroflot. And you are talking about the reliability of Aeroflot, and we are talking about security. And pilots are blamed for everything ... We are nervous because the pilots are starting to leave us, ”he continued. Filev noted that he had a “small note”: “Since there is no official data (about the investigation), we hear that within the framework of the investigation of the Yakut incident (if the landing gear was damaged) there was a leak from the tanks. Oleg Bocharov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, answered for Yurchik, who moderated the discussion. “We are with you in a difficult moral and ethical situation: how would it be right in my opinion? Usually in all other countries, participants in the aviation industry come and say: colleagues, citizens, these are our problems, we are all guilty together, and we will all sort things out professionally. And then people calm down. This is not the case yet, ”he said. Bocharov urged to refrain from any statements before publishing reports of specialists on the investigation of accidents with the Sukhoi Superjet 100 in Sheremetyevo and in Yakutsk.

After the disaster at Sheremetyevo, the head of the Ministry of Transport, Yevgeny Dietrich, said that the ministry saw no reason to suspend flights of SSJ 100.
