As Forbes found out, the Bombardier Global 5000 business-card, which is called the private plane of the main shareholder of the Magnitogorsk metallurgical plant Viktor Rashnikov, is on sale for sale. The announcement of the sale is posted on the website of the broker Opus Aeronatics. This business-card with the VP-BJN number was issued in 2008 and, according to the data of air-tracking services, until the end of 2017 regularly made flights from Moscow's Vnukovo airport to the airport of Magnitogorsk. In MMK, Forbes did not respond to the request.
Design for an airplane that accommodates up to 13 passengers was developed by Alberto Pinto Interior Design. She also worked on finishing the 140-meter yacht Ocean Victory, delivered to Rashnikova in 2014. According to Dmitry Petrochenko, the head of the project Bizavnews, Bombardier owner MMK can cost about $ 25 million.
And now Rashnikov can use another business - the Gulfstream G650ER with the onboard VP-BOT number issued last year. This aircraft is operated by Jet Aviation (previously it was Bombardier Rashnikova) and also regularly makes flights between Moscow and Magnitogorsk. According to Petrochenko, Gulfstream could manage the owner in $ 58-62 million.
Management's business Magnitogorsk is one of the few rare guests of a local airport serving regular passenger flights only to Moscow (and seasonal ones to Simferopol and Antalya). The airport has an international status, it was received in 1999, after the reconstruction, which was fully paid to MMK. Then the plant upgraded the runway and rebuilt the airport terminal so that he could take international flights. The costs were estimated at 320 million rubles. Part of this money came from the local budget - so was part of MMK's debts. Now the Magnitogorsk airport, which is in the state property, is again waiting for the reconstruction - last year it entered the state program "Development of the transport system", calculated until 2021.
