Tushinsky Machine-Building Plant (TMZ) was put up for sale on the Avito ad site, the seller - InvestRussia agency - is asking for the enterprise 8.3 billion rubles. The text of the announcement on the site states that all immovable and movable property of the plant is sold. The object is implemented under the law on bankruptcy.
RBC talked with the representative of InvestRussia Andrey Belozubov, whose number is on the Avito website. According to him, InvestRussia helps the owner of the plant to sell it.
"Saratov Bank issued a loan, and the plant could not cope, and eventually he moved to the bank. The bank is not interested in keeping an inactive plant, accordingly, it puts it at auction for bankruptcy. <...> Avito is one of the ways to sell our facilities, we have other electronic platforms. Nobody forbids spreading it on Avito as well, "Belozubov said.
In the past, TMZ was one of the largest enterprises in the aerospace industry in Russia. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, the Buran reusable orbiter was assembled at the plant. In the 1990s, the buses produced by the plant were licensed by Ikarus and LiAZ. Then the plants carried out the assembly of bodies and the installation of showrooms for buses and trolleybuses for Moscow.
In 2010, the general director of the plant, Sergei Ilyashenko, suspended the work of the enterprise. Three years later, the Moscow Arbitration Court declared the plant bankrupt.
