The new state program of armaments (GVP) will be adopted in 2023 and will cover the period 2024-2033. Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov told about it after the meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission under the leadership of Vladimir Putin, RBC correspondent reports.

"They decided when the new state program of armaments would be launched," Borisov said. "In 2023, we will adopt a new state arms program, the next period will be until 2033". The vice-premier noted that the LG is the main long-term document, according to which the armed forces are developing.

"The implementation of the current program - and we have it calculated before 2027 - we started this year. It takes into account the current trends in the development of weapons and military equipment in the world, as well as the experience of the combat use of Russian weapons in the Syrian Arab Republic, "Putin said.

The state program of armaments for 2018-2027, which Vladimir Putin announced in January 2018, supposes modernization of arms and military equipment by 19 trillion rubles. and the construction of a new infrastructure for 1 trillion rubles.

These funds will also include work on the S-500 air defense missile system, Sarmat and Rubezh intercontinental ballistic missiles, and the replacement of Topol complexes with more modern Yars. The fifth generation of Su-57 fighters (also known as PAK FA and T-50) and MiG-35, modernization of strategic Tu-95MS, Tu-160M ​​and Tu-22M3 strategic bombers, as well as work on a prospective long-range missile system Aviation (PAC YES).

For the Navy, the program includes the construction of a Borey B submarine cruiser, surface warships with cruise missiles Caliber and hypersonic Zirkons, as well as two helicopter carriers equipped with the latest marine Ka-52K Katran helicopters.

Among armored vehicles, the purchase of armored vehicles based on the Armata, Kurganets and Boomerang platforms, as well as the supply of new T-90M tanks, is a priority.

The meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission was held in the Patriot Park, where the president, along with Patriarch Kirill, took part in the consecration of the foundation stone of the main temple of the Defense Ministry.
