Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed the temporarily acting governor of the Tyumen region city manager Tyumen Alexander Moore. He took the place of Vladimir Yakushev, who became the minister of the federal government.

As "Kommersant" reported, the Tyumen region was headed by city manager Tyumen Alexander Moore. Vladimir Putin already had a working meeting with him. According to Kommersant's information, he passed the so-called training courses for governors and was a reserve managerial personnel under the patronage of the presidential administration (see "Kommersant" on November 9, 2017). The post of governor was vacant after the head of the Tyumen region Vladimir Yakushev was appointed Minister of Construction and Housing.

Alexander Moore was born in 1974 in the Tyumen region. From 2005 to 2011 he worked as deputy governor of the region, after which he was elected head of the Tyumen administration. According to a study by the Information Communications Center "Rating" in partnership with the Finance University under the government of the Russian Federation, Mr. Moore for two consecutive years - in 2016 and 2017 - headed the national rating of the mayors of the country. Subsequently, the Russian president awarded him the Order of Merit for the Fatherland.

Vacant is the post of governor of the Amur region - its already ex-head Alexander Kozlov became minister for the development of the Far East. The most likely candidate for this post is called Deputy Plenipotentiary of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District Vladimir Solodov. It is expected that today the head of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District will be appointed, and its head Dmitry Kobylkin became Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology. On May 28, the heads of the Magadan Region and Yakutia Vladimir Pecheny and Yegor Borisov resigned voluntarily. Vladimir Putin appointed the Magadan governor of the mayor of Nizhny Tagil Sergei Nosov, and the head of Yakutia, the mayor of Yakutsk, Aisen Nikolayev.
