Lawyers of Sergey Khachaturov want to pull him out of jail

For the former co-owner of Rosgosstrakh they are asked to choose any measure of restraint, except for custody.

Protection of Sergei Khachaturov appealed his arrest, Interfax was told by the lawyer of the detainee Alexei Melnikov. "We have just filed an appeal, in which we ask the Moscow City Court to overturn the decision of the Lefortovo court and elect a preventive measure in the form of house arrest or other, not connected with the detention," said the lawyer.

Lefortovo Court on April 18 arrested for two months Sergei Khachaturov, the younger brother of the former presidency of Rosgosstrakh Danil Khachaturov. Khachaturov, Jr. is suspected of misappropriation or embezzlement (Article 160.4 of the Criminal Code), a court representative said. According to the lawyer, we are talking about the assets of the company that owns a stake in Rosgosstrakh: "The new owner believes that something was not paid to him."

A statement to the law enforcement agencies filed a "new leadership" discovery, told "Vedomosti" law enforcement officer and a person close to one of the parties to the dispute (the representative of the TFR did not answer the call). Khachaturov noted that he himself had been on interrogation. "I'm not going anywhere, we will prove our innocence in the courts," he assured.
