Deputy head of the Ministry of Natural Resources, head of Rosprirodnadzor Artem Sidorov resigned at his own request. According to Kommersant sources, he is now on vacation, his duties before the appointment of the new head of Rosprirodnadzor are performed by the deputy head of the service Amirkhan Amirkhanov. According to "Kommersant", the struggle between the applicants for the vacated position has already unfolded. Among them: Deputy Head of Rostekhnadzor Svetlana Radionova, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources Murad Kerimov and Deputy Plenipotentiary of the President in the Urals Federal District (UFO) Alexander Kaliberda.

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev dismissed the head of Rosprirodnadzor, deputy head of the Ministry of Natural Resources Artem Sidorov, who held these posts since 2015, the order was published on July 3 on the government website. Such a decision was made "at the request" of the head of the supervisory authority. According to Kommersant sources, until July 4, Mr. Sidorov is on vacation, and for this time, the deputy head of Rosprirodnadzor Amirkhan Amirkhanov, who will perform this role until the appointment of a new leader, was acting as deputy.

As Kommersant wrote on June 13, the head of the Ministry of Natural Resources Dmitry Kobylkin decided to transfer the functions of the curator of environmental problems to the deputy minister in the status of the head of Rosprirodnadzor, previously the sphere was supervised by another deputy minister - Murad Kerimov. According to Kommersant sources, Mr. Kobylkin even then began to search for candidates for this position. Kommersant's interlocutors familiar with the situation called Svetlana Radonova, the deputy head of Rostekhnadzor, the possible replacement for Artem Sidorov, but there are other candidates.

One of the interlocutors of Kommersant asserts that Dmitry Kobylkin supports the candidacy of Mrs. Radionova. Murad Kerimov, in turn, also hopes to become a replacement for Artem Sidorov, another source of Kommersant notes. "He is trying to persuade Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Gordeyev (curator of ecology .-" Kommersant ") to entrust him to this post," he says. Another source of Kommersant, close to Rosprirodnadzor, said that Artem Sidorov could be replaced by Alexander Kaliberda, the deputy presidential envoy to the Ural Federal District. Prior to May, Dmitry Kobylkin headed the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, and Mr. Kaliberda was a federal inspector of the region, and before that - an environmental prosecutor. The Ministry of Natural Resources does not comment on the topic.
