The case of industrial espionage to Nokian Tyres plants stuck with it since 2011, when the Finns, suspecting something was wrong, called the police. It would have remained in limbo, if in the last year of the former employee has not admitted to industrial espionage, obtaining as a result of a year and two months probation. And today, on June 14, it became known that Nokian Tyres has accused 10 of its former employees, such as the theft of documents at the plant in Vsevolozhsk, Russia.
At the Vsevolozhsk plant the Finnish manufacturer noted that do not yet know about the charges brought against 10 of their former colleagues from the Finnish side, and was advised to go to the head office. In Finland Antti-Jussi Tyahtinen (Antti-Jussi Tahtinen), vice president of marketing and communications Nokian Tyres, confirmed "Fontanke.fi" that 10 former employees used the plans of the Russian plant for their own purposes, and stole documents relating to the design, and the production of tires. The events described took place in 2011-2012. According Tyahtinena, documents that have become the object of industrial espionage in Vsevolozhsk, are only a small part, and the majority of securities towhether stolen in Finland.
Vice-President stressed that all the accused - are citizens of Finland and among the Russians involved in industrial espionage there. Tyahtinen also said that the case of industrial espionage is not related to the scandal in March, which were revealed as a result of manipulation of the tire manufacturer with production tests Nokian Tyres.
