UC Rusal is preparing to move its head office to Krasnoyarsk. About this, referring to the acting governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Alexander Uss, told Interfax.
"Now they [UC Rusal] are looking for a building. The first more than 500 jobs will be created already this year, - said Uss. "Thus, we will have people who will make management decisions related to the aluminum industry of the whole country." Last week, during the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Krasnoyarsk, UC Rusal CEO Vladislav Solovyov said that the company decided to transport its office to this city.

In Krasnoyarsk, one of the two largest aluminum smelters in the world is located - Rusal-Krasnoyarsk with a capacity of 1 million tons of metal per year. The other is also owned by UC Rusal and is located in Bratsk (Irkutsk region).
