Russian and foreign press are in love with Elizaveta Peskova. The Times newspaper called her a "glamorous ally of Putin." But she is not the only heiress to the presidential press secretary: Dmitry Peskov has five children. Sofia Savina looks into their business patriotism, influential Chechen friends and undeclared American real estate.

THE ELDEST SON: THE PROPAGANDIST-POWER ENGINEER

Peskov’s eldest son Nikolai was born in 1990 to his first wife, Anastasia Budennaya, the granddaughter of Marshal of the Soviet Union Semyon Budennyi.

Nikolai, who took his mother’s last name Choles, grew up in London and moved to Russia five years ago. In 2012, he joined the Russian Army's rocket forces, participating in the Victory Parade on Red Square. He then went to work for Russian television channel Russia Today.

Nikolai’s Facebook still lists Russia Today as his place of work, however, his last post was in 2012, when he discussed the souvenirs of the Olympics in Sochi in 2014. Pointing to teddy bears, leopards and hares, the correspondent said: "For me, they are all cute."

Nikolay also has one more job listed on Facebook, creative director for Fight Nights, a mixed martial arts tournament. He has several photos with Fight Nights fighters on his page. However, on the official website of the company there is no information about an employee named Nikolai Choles.


According to the Anti-Corruption Foundation, it was Magomedov who paid for the honeymoon of Peskov and his spouse Tatiana Navka in 2015. They spent this time on the word's biggest  Maltese Falcon yacht, which cost 26 million rubles per week.

Elizaveta Peskova remarked about her brother, "He worked on RT as a journalist, was a reporter, now he is doing business." One Russian company is actually registered to Nikolai Dmitrievich Choles, LLC Modern technologies, an energy sector construction company focused on “electricity transmission”. The company was created recently, in February 2017. Nikolai is not so noticeable in public space as his sister. He is fond of hunting and equestrian, travels a lot and spends time with Dmitry Peskov’s other children. In 2014 he attended the celebration of Tatiana Navka’s birthday, the current wife of the press secretary.

The publication The Insider reported that in 2014, Nicholas Choles was prosecuted for beating his grandmother Inesa Budennaya. However, within a couple of days the case was recalled "for lack of corpus delicti."

TO SCHOOL ON A PRIVATE JET

Peskov’s second wife, Ekaterina Solotsinskaya, a Russian diplomat’s daughter. In 2016, her daughter Elizaveta said that her mother works "Unfortunately, nowhere" on social media.

In June of this year, after divorcing Peskov, Ekaterina Solotzinskaya was appointed the head of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Paris. According to the New Times, "the personnel castling was settled during the visit of Vladimir Putin to France."

While married to Solotsinskaya, Peskov had three children: Mika (Michael), Denis (Daniil) and Elizaveta. Denis is 9 and Mika is 12 years old. Both live with their mother in England, but they also spend time in Russia. The are several photos with Ramzan Kadyrov on Mika’s page in Instagram. Denis prefers to be photographed with Russian rappers and expensive cars.


According to the Dmitry Peskov’s declaration for 2016, one of his younger sons already owns an apartment(140 sq. m.), as wells having rights to two land plots (9,373 sq.m.) and a house (779 sq.m.). His second son has two apartments, one, ​​140 sq. m. in Russia, and the second, 180 sq. m. in France.

His daughter, Elizaveta Peskova, lives  and was educated in France. At the age of 12 she was sent to a boarding school in Normandy. The website Ecole des Roches offers to students to "come to our school in a private plane."

The cost of the Roche school is up to 2.6 million rubles a year, and among its graduates are the royal families of Morocco and Thailand, the president of Lebanon and the princely family of Golitsyns. Now Peskova studies at the Paris School of Business (EDC Paris Business School). A year of study at this school costs € 8960, or 631,000 rubles a year.

The press secretary’s daughter started making a name for herself in media after the Tatler Debutante ball in 2015. Peskova public life in Russia began this summer. In June, she took part in a meeting of the board of bloggers in the State Duma. According to its creator, deputy Vasily Vlasov (LDPR), the council was needed to advise the State Duma committees and help deputies interact with citizens on the Internet. At the meeting, Peskova did not say a single word.

On Instagram, Peskova calls herself "cosmopolitan", criticizes the Russian education system, advertises clothes of the fashion house Firdaws of Aishat Kadyrova, the daughter of the head of Chechnya. In one of her posts Peskova speaks out against demonstrations in defense of the rights of sexual minorities, because they "prevent" her from "walking down the street to her house.


BUSINESS PATRIOTISM IN THE CHECHEN WAY

In summer this year Liza Peskova announced on Instagram she told that she will be engaged in developing patriotic upbringing and youth entrepreneurship. As advisor to the President for the Association of Entrepreneurs for the development of business patriotism Avanti.

Among other things, the organization stands for the renaming of the central street of Simferopol to V.V. Putin Prospect. The author of the initiative is Umar Dzhabrailov, Chairman of the General Council of the Association for the Development of Business Patriotism and is also a main sponsor.

Umar Dzhabrailov is a businessman and statesman close to Ramzan Kadyrov. Until 2009, he represented Chechnya in the Federation Council.

His organization Avanti has its own youth movement Sila. It includes Sergei Belokonev, ex-head of Rosmolodezh and former secretary of the pro-Kremlin youth movement Nashi, called "the ideologist of Nashi.”

One of Avanti's goals is to "develop the future business elite of Russia." On RBC Peskova said that she sees her task as helping "Putin’s Generation.”

In June, the head of Avanti and Umar Dzhabrailov's assistant Rahman Yansukov published a video of a meeting with French entrepreneur Louis Waldberg and Lisa Peskova. In this video Yansukov states that "Avanti" will help Wladberg with production of Tazer electric lighters.

Louis Waldberg is Peskova’s boyfriend and he accompanied Lisa to the Cannes Film Festival, they visited Ramzan Kadyrov in Chechnya and even to a shipyard in Sevastopol.

Peskova went in August to the plant "Southern Sevastopol," which owes landlords 32 million rubles, in her words, "to help people." The plant management called Avanti to Sevastopol to sign an agreement on cooperation. However, Peskova's visit to the plant did not help to solve their problems, as the government of Sevastopol intends to fully recover the rent arrears.

One of Navka’s apartment (126 sq. m.) is in the United States. It is located in an elite residential complex in Manhattan, in a historic part of New York. It’s equipped with a bamboo garden, fitness center, 24-hour doorman. The apartment, registered to Navka, is now up for sale for 2.2 million dollars or for 129.8 million rubles.

Peskov’s new wife has more properties overseas as she owns a house in New Jersey with her ex-husband Alexander Zhulin, according to the state’s tax register.

The house (​​398 sq.m.) was bought by the couple in 2006 for $ 1.4 million. Since then, the owners have not changed, and every year Alexander Zhulin & Tatiana Navka have paid taxes on this property. Dmitry Peskov’s wife did not report this American house in her declarations for 2015 and 2016.

Tatiana Navka has a child from her first marriage, Alexandra Zhulina, who finished the 10th grade this year. On social networks, she writes that she is currently studying at a gymnasium, plans to get an economic education, and she is going to do a masters "abroad." The girl spends every summer at foreign camps, in Switzerland, England, France, and the USA. The new member of the Peskov’s family already has American citizenship. As well as a photograph with Putin.
