Vladimir Rogov, a member of the council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, chairman of the Zaporozhye public movement “We are with Russia”, said on Telegram that the fighters of the Wagner PMC, with whom he spoke, confirm the death of the founder of the company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, during the crash of an Embraer business jet in the Tver region. According to Vladimir Rogov, PMC commander Dmitry Utkin died along with Mr. Prigozhin.

The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case under the article on violation of the rules for operating an aircraft (Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
