Sechin asks to destroy the circulation of Vedomosti with an article about his house in Barvikha

Rosneft head believes that all phrases with his surname in the Vedomosti article on his building up a house in Barvikha should be considered as an invasion of privacy. Top manager demands to prohibit the circulation of the article and destroy all issues in possession of the publisher.

The head of "Rosneft" Igor Sechin in his lawsuit against the publishing house "Business News Media" published by "Vedomosti", demanded to destroy all the means at the disposal of "Vedomosti" copies of the newspaper on July 20, an article entitled "Sechin building a nest in Barvikha," said RBC head the legal department of "Vedomosti" Vladimir Rumyantsev.

Sechin also asked to remove the article from the website and distribute it to prohibit in the future, he said. In addition, the head of "Rosneft" required to publish on the website and in the newspaper reported that the article "Sechin building a nest in Barvikha" acknowledged violating his right to privacy, said Rumyantsev.

According to him, all the phrases in the article with the name of the plaintiff Sechin considers interference in the private life. "We do not believe that violated existing law, because all the information obtained from public sources," - said Rumyantsev.

The official representative of "Rosneft" Mikhail Leontiev Sechin refused to comment on the essence of the claim. A source in the "Rosneft" RBC confirmed that Sechin's lawyers require the defendant to recognize all of the phrases in the article with the name Sechin interference in his private life and point it in the newspaper, as well as to destroy all available copies of the paper version of the said Article.

The issue of "Vedomosti" dated July 20, it published an article by journalist Rinat Sagdieva titled "Sechin building a nest in Barvikha." It tells us that Sechin has acquired land near clinical sanatorium property administration of President "Barvikha" and build a house there.

In August Sechin gave in Ostankino court in Moscow to claim the publisher of "Vedomosti" and journalist Rinat Sagdieva.
