The income of the ex-deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and former sportswoman Alina Kabaeva in 2020 increased at least three times compared to 2019, reaching 153 million rubles in six months. Kabaeva's income in the National Media Group varies greatly from year to year. So, in 2017, she earned only 5.4 million rubles there (although she took her post back in 2014), but already in 2018 her income increased to 785.4 million rubles. In 2019, the amount of payments fell to 55.4 million, and in 2020 it increased again.

In the first half of 2020, Alina Kabaeva, as follows from the information of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, earned 152.7 million rubles. There is no final data for 2020, but it is obvious that the income of the ex-athlete will be much higher.

Information about Kabaeva's earnings has already been leaked to the media from the FTS database, these figures coincide with those at the disposal of Sobesednik.ru.

According to the documents, Kabaeva received all her earnings at the National Media Group CJSC, which is controlled by a friend of Vladimir Putin and his former partner in the Ozero cooperative, Yuri Kovalchuk. Kabaeva is the chairman of the board of directors of NMG, indicated on the organization's website.

Thus, Kabaeva receives about 900 thousand rubles a day (37.4 thousand rubles per hour or 623 rubles per minute).

By the way, according to official data from Rosstat, the average monthly salary in Russia in 2020 was 51,083 rubles.

NMG is the largest private media holding in Russia, which owns Channel Five and REN TV, the Sport Express newspapers and Izvestia MIC, as well as stakes in CTC Media and Channel One. In October 2020, the group became the Russian partner of the online cinema Netflix. She also owns the Russian subsidiary of Viasat and Sony Pictures.

According to the SPARK system, the former athlete is the general director of only one legal entity - the Alina Kabaeva Charitable Foundation. Its balance in 2019 amounted to 55 million rubles. However, information from the Pension Fund of Russia indicates that Kabaeva does not receive a salary there - over the past few years, her income there amounted to 0 rubles 0 kopecks.
